Writing failures


There are times where a statement can have multiple interpretations.
For example:

I visited my sister and her dog, Julie, and she is quite a bitch.

would have better have been written as,

I visited my sister and her dog, Julie, and Julie is quite a bitch.

Bob's body was found in a very decayed state, in West Virginia.

would have better have been written as,

Bob's body was found in West Virginia, and in a very decayed state.

Tom hit a man with a prosthetic leg.

would have better have been written as,

Tom hit a man who has a prosthetic leg.

After speaking with John, Bob said that he was an idiot.

would have better have been written as,

After speaking with John, Bob said that John was an idiot.

Missing puctuation is also troublesome:

i helped my uncle jack off his horse
